I have a 2018 GLA 180, that started to loose power, and idle was not smooth and "check engine" light came on. Took it to my mechanic that diagnosed cylinder 4 had lost compression. They used a camera into cylinder 4 and it showed that there was excessive carbon on top of the piston and possibly on the exhaust valve. They have used a chemical cleaner to clean the piston on 2 separate occasions, power seems to be restored, but idle is still very rough and engine warning light is still coming on.
